Due to its unique petal like structure, it has unique advantages in preparing highly active magnesium oxide and is widely used in the fields of food and pharmaceuticals.
        According to current reports, the main raw materials for the preparation of alkaline magnesium carbonate are ore, brine, or industrial grade magnesium sulfate. Among them, petal shaped alkaline magnesium carbonate was prepared by heating MgCL2 hexahydrate in a water bath and reacting with urea. After grinding, serpentinite reacts with inorganic acids at room temperature and pressure, and then NH3 · H2O and ammonium bicarbonate are added to generate basic magnesium carbonate. Basic magnesium carbonate was also obtained through the pyrolysis of heavy magnesium water. MgCL2 reacts with sodium carbonate to generate alkaline magnesium carbonate as a dispersant, which can make the polymer particles uniform and small, without the need to bind with surfactants. Alkaline magnesium carbonate is prepared by atomic economy reaction between natural mineral brucite or synthetic magnesium hydroxide and carbon dioxide.
          This invention provides an alkaline magnesium carbonate. The present invention relates to alkaline magnesium carbonate prepared from reaction raw materials under hydrothermal reaction conditions and its preparation method. The raw materials include magnesium hydroxide, urea, and water. The present invention directly produces alkaline magnesium carbonate from magnesium hydroxide and urea. The obtained alkaline magnesium carbonate has good crystallinity, high purity, and can form petal like structures. This preparation method has a simple process, low production cost, and is easy to achieve industrial production.
